Lilian Brooks
From a young age, Lilian Brooks had a deep love and passion for the world of acting. Growing up in Mexico, she found joy in performing in school plays and putting on shows with her siblings at home. At the age of 14, Lilian moved to Atlanta in search of the American dream and fell head over heels for the process of making movies. In 2012, she married Brent Brooks, who became her mentor and helped her become more involved in the local TV and film community. Lilian has since taken on lead and principal roles as an actress in various projects and formed part of Improv Troupes. She has also collaborated with her husband and other Atlanta filmmakers, writing and producing numerous projects. She has played a vital role in the success of the “Get Connected” film & television networking events, played a prominent role in the voiceover industry helping organize the world’s largest voiceover event event VO Atlanta and the successful organization United Women of the Arts which has lead to her having amazing connections and experiences in the industry. Throughout her journey in the film industry, Lilian has discovered the power of improvisation and the monomyth in bringing characters to life. She has also developed a keen eye for identifying archetypes in real life. Lilian’s passion for sharing her knowledge led her to teach acting classes at Blank Stage Actors Studios a few years ago. Despite the changes in her life, her love for teaching remains unwavering. Now residing in Lilburn, GA, Lilian is excited to begin a new chapter of teaching acting alongside her husband and son, who share her passion for the performing arts.’
